Arizona (ACL) Shuts Out Texas (ACL) Behind DeGraeve, 6-0
Monday, May 14th , 2035
Lance DeGraeve of the Arizona (ACL) Diamondbacks Black spun his magic on the Texas (ACL) Rangers. He blanked them, 6-0, on 7 hits, registering 10 strikeouts and no walks.
"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," DeGraeve said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."
Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Arizona (ACL) skipper Braden Looper said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."
"Lance pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.
