Everett's Vegas Diagnosis Revealed

"Not what I wanted to hear," said Everett's Carlos Vegas to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 05/15/2035 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Vegas said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Vegas has been out of action since he suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow.
So far this year, Vegas has nailed down no saves. His won-lost record is 0-0 with a 6.39 ERA.
