Vega Receives Updated Diagnosis
Sunday, July 6th , 2036
Bad news for Alex Vega: the Reno reliever will miss the duration of the season due to injury. He said that the team's medical staff made it official this afternoon. Vega handled it philosophically. "It's the end of the season for me," he said. "It's not the end of the world."
This season, Vega has made 19 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark and a 7.50 ERA. In pitching 42 innings, he has totaled 55 strikeouts and 40 walks.
