PCL Headline News: The All-Star Game Voting Begins

"Vote Early and Vote Often!"
While that may not be true for elections, that's the message coming out of the Pacific Coast League offices for the upcoming All-Star game, scheduled for Tuesday, July 3rd , 2035. The ballots have been released, and everyone can cast your ballot up until a few days before the game, when the final rosters will be released.

Jacobs 5-for-7 for Las Vegas

Thanks to Elliot Jacobs and his big bat, the Aviators derailed the Tacoma Rainiers, 10-9, at Las Vegas Ballpark. The Las Vegas shortstop had a standout game with 5 hits in 7 at-bats. Elliot Jacobs flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Roberto Hernandez in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 8th, struck out in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
In 39 games this season, Jacobs is batting .372 with 58 hits and 11 home runs. He has scored 37 runs and driven in 37.

Tucson Loses Giampaolo for 4 Months

This afternoon, Donnie Giampaolo, the Tucson closer, confirmed that he will not be back on the field anytime soon. Giampaolo has a ruptured finger tendon, which has sidelined him since 05/12/2035. "Last I heard," he said, "it'll be 4 months." He added: "At least."
In the 2035 season Giampaolo has worked 6.1 innings in 5 relief appearances and earned 1 save. He has dished out 6 strikeouts and walked 3 with a 2-0 mark and a 5.68 ERA.
