Blue Jays Victorious at Baltimore, 8-4
|
At Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Toronto third baseman Dean Curley had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Baltimore Orioles, 8-4. Matt Svanson, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings.
With Toronto leading 5-4 in the top of the eighth, Curley hit a 2-run single off Baltimore hurler Juan Arnaud. It was the 36th hit of the season for Curley and put his team ahead, 7-4.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Curley.
With the victory, the Blue Jays upped their record to 32-22.
