Benefiting from Delfry Greenfield's productive game, the Toronto Blue Jays downed the Tampa Bay Rays, 9-6. Greenfield hit 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 5 for the Blue Jays. The winner was Luis Medina in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Sergio Feliciano took the loss. The win puts Toronto at 13-8.

With Toronto leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth, Greenfield hit a sinker from Sergio Feliciano for a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 6-1.

"We got the victory," said Greenfield. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
