The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Cleveland Guardians, 8-3, with first baseman Delfry Greenfield playing a big role. Greenfield was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Blue Jays in the win. The Guardians, 8-9, continue their sluggish start to the 2036 campaign.

Dean Curley had a big 3-run home run for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the third inning. With Toronto trailing 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a curveball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Théotime Lindsay and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Blue Jays on top, 3-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Curley told the Toronto Chronicle. "It's as simple as that."
