The Detroit Tigers picked up a win at Comerica Park, downing the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-3. On the mound for Detroit was right-hander Luke Geske, who played a pivotal role in the win. Peyton Pallette picked up the save, his 1st. After losing, Toronto is 2-2.

Detroit designated hitter Chris Pennington contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 6-3.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Geske.
