The Toronto Blue Jays could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Delfry Greenfield into a win. Instead, the Minnesota Twins prevailed, 8-7. Greenfield was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. T.J. LaDue picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-5. He struck out 8 in 5 innings. Chance Fitzgerald notched his 12th save in 16 chances.

Marek Houston had a big 2-run triple for the Twins in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Minnesota leading 4-3 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 31-year old left-handed pitcher Gabriel Agostini and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Twins ahead, 6-3.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Houston said. "We did a good job of that today."

Minnesota is now 29-40, Toronto 41-28.
