Guardians Rally Late to Clip Toronto
The Toronto Blue Jays could not turn a fine performance from second baseman Iestyn Murray into a win. Instead, the Cleveland Guardians prevailed, 6-5. Murray went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. The win went to Nick Spencer in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Gabriel Agostini took the loss. The Guardians improved their record to 30-31 with the win over Toronto.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jesse Richardson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 31-year old left-handed pitcher Gabriel Agostini to win the game for Cleveland. The home crowd went nuts.

"It feels good to get this one," Richardson told the Cleveland Chronicle.
